Which brand of Grout do you prefer to use?

i have switched from using bal and mapei to pci,s grout , good price , good colour range but most important dead easy to work with, great finish and no patchy bits...

One of the independant tile supplier's I buy my material's from has sample's of mapei, I tried the grout for the first time it go's off faster than any I've used before but got a good finish, hope they decide to supply mapei
yeah, found that myself, mixed enough to do en-suite walls and utility floor (they were both slate) ended up skipping half of it 'cos it had set.My guager was like excalibur stuck in bucket!

I still use Nicobond for general white and grey grout, but have used mapei for other colours, not used their black yet as ive used BAL.

cheers

Re. grouting in black; the use of Mapei, or other rapid set grouts with black or other dark colours helps I have found, since the ongoing setting allows you to clean it back fully. Where the grout stays wet during the whole process there comes a point where all you are doing is smearing the work and dragging out the grout, requiring you to leave it and return the next day to complete the clean off.

I used to use Dunlop flexi grout, or ordinary dunlop grout with flexi add, but neither gives as good results as bal, I've spotted a store who does mapei grout and might have to give it a try...Hmm anyone used to mapei?
