Which is the best system for my needs please?

I'm posting this with Wetdecs in mind but would welcome other responses.

Client wants an area (existing downstairs loo) that is app 900 x 1500mm turned into a wetroom shower area.

The floor is solid concrete with screed on top. I don't mind digging it out a bit to accomodate a former, but the former obviously has to be level with the finished floor level, so that the floor tiles run smoothly etc.

I was originally looking at the Impey former but it seems that this is more suited to timber floors than concrete. A quick search on Wetdecs site has not turned up a suitable size from any other manufacturer.

The 1500mm dimension is flexable, ie I can go larger. The former can, if needed be longer than this, as the area currently has a doorway at one end. The former could run past this. However there are 2 solid walls either side of the 900mm dimension so this one is fixed.

Another solution I came up with after having had a chat with Wetdecs is to use a smaller former more suited to setting in a concrete floor but make up the short fall with a sloped screed and some membrane before tiling.

The tanking procedure is one I'm comfortable with for now. I really just need to specify a full system for now.

The drainage would be achieved by removing the internal soil stack at the corner of the room (this is being relocated nearby) and using the existing drainage. Obviously I'll need to couple in the waste etc. I'm comfortable with that as well

The Impey former does more concrete installs than wood I would think as I believe it is based or was tranfered from the less able sector which are predominantly solid ground floor installs. The 1 concern I do have is it sits directly on the concrete and to reduce any deflection you screw through it. The Impey do have a corner drain which tuff2 do not

The tuff4 trays have a grid stability system so rather than being solid the under side is hollow around the grid ( one image has 2 trays on it the bottom one is upside down showing the grid) When its bedded in the concrete below goes up into the grid so it can be tapped down if you know what i mean

The Tilux is a lot thicker and would mean you more or less taking away the screed. This one is the most secure as it has the lock in drain and tanking membrane fixed so you have a ready sealed system (you have to lock the drain into the factory fitted collar) Tilux wet room shower tray former with wetroom drain from wetdecs
