Which is the best way to tile over electric UFH system ?

Also in these cases if you start to do jobs for silly prices you get that reputation for the man that will do it for next to nothing. Once you get there you will find it hard to get higher and fairer prices.

We've not mentined type of tiles yet? (not that it makes much difference).

Its stone of some sort isn't it ??

or £7 b&q's by any chance?

If you do it in 1 day + halfday grouting & cleaning, then yes, if its a good deal for you, then I'd entertain it, ** IF ** I can SLC it 1st.

If definately no SLC, then its not worth the risk. No way.

60 x 60 porcelin tiles..

Yeah i agree there,

firstly i would always insist on the UFH matting be levelled with a flexi leveller, the fact your using 60x60 i would 100% make sure i was......this will make sure the floor is flat.....no one wants trip up points on a the floor.

Thanx for everyone's advice on this thread its greatly appreciated. I will get back and let you guys know the out come. I know in my own mind i wont be doing it if it isn't leveled first and he will be leveling it as well.

Thanks

ive used both methods, i prefer to slc , but some companies ive subbied to dont want to wait for the slc, straight in and tile ,plumber wanting to be in ect, upshot was as long as the cables are fully enclosed there shouldnt be an issue

If this customer has done all the prep, he thinks he knows it all by the sound of it.......why is he not doing the tiling as well.:mad2:

Think of your reputation if something goes wrong. He would be the first to say you dont have a clue and you messed up his kitchen. Dont do It if its no on your terms as your the tiler not him
