iPhone 4 for me.

Had windows powered phones, hate them (such as Xperia and HTC) will never have another.
My mrs had her iphone 3gs nicked (a hand me down from me) so we got her a Blackberry Curve, they're crap. Sent it back. Got her an iPhone 4 now, there's no comparison. It does everything the others do and more.

We're thinking of getting our own forum apps developed for our busy forums, and you'll be able to download the app free of charge, unlike tapatalk. And it does a lot more than tapatalk does such as the ability to vote on and post new polls. And it support push notifications. So if you get a PM on the forum but don't have the app loaded, it'll notify you in the usual way same as a text message or whatever. Costs a fair bit to make though so we're just discussing pricing.

All those folks with the iphone 4, have they ironed out all the issues they had with signal when it was 1st released? Scared me off it a bit when I renewed my contract so opted for the 3gs with the software from the 4. So essentially a 4 in a 3's clothes

Not quite a 4, but I did that with my 3GS too. Camera quality is HD on the 4, unlike the 3.

I have a clear "bumper" (case) on mine and it's fine. Take it out the case and it'll only loose signal in weak areas. It drops a bar in stronger areas which is fine with me.

looks like the iphone 4 is the front runner and tbh all the lads at work have either the iphone 3gs, the i phone4 or blackberrys ,the lads with blackberrys dont get much work done as with the e-mail bbm messenger and texts they are constantly beeping/buzzing to the point the lads with blackberrys are told to leave their phones in the van unless they are on a break
My last 2 phones have been the Nokia n95 and the nokia n96 which I chose because the camera quality was exceptinally good for a camera phone and its why the Nokia n8 is in the running ,Ed has a good point about touch screen phones and texting but I have seen really good cases for the i phones which protect the phone really well,
Any feedback on the samsung galaxy s ? it has good reviews, I just want some feedback fromm a tiler that used one
The tarif i have been offered is an unlimited usage business tariff with t-mobile/orange for £35 per month for all phones except the iphone ,where they want £50 per month ,which is probably the only reason why I still haven't made my mind up as the apple deal is more expensive

I have an HTC Desire and i love it! But my last phone was an old sony ericson and i had it for 4 yrs so anythinhg would have been better.

I havent compared it to the i phone 4 and i diddnt want one due to everyone having one wanted something different.
but each to there own...

I wouldnt bother with the iphone 4. I have it, and i cant see the point in paying an extra 20 pounds a month over mt girlfriends htc desire. The htc google phone is also awesome. Dont bother with an iphone, unless you are a brand freak. lol. Im not slating the phone as its a good phone. but the contracts are to expencive, and the price of the sim free phone is too.
Thanks for the input, is the htc as user friendly as the iphone ?
