I have to replace my blown chipboard flooring, and will be using plywood to do this., but which type
i have spoken to my timer supplier (arnold Laver) they have recommended
2400x600x18mm Weaver Spruce Tounge groove plyboard for my floor.
Due to is been tounge and groves it will be stronger at the joints, but i will have 3 joints going across the floor.
Or i get 2240x1220x18mm exterior ply and will have a joint either where i'll stand using my sink or the entrace door (dependant on where i start to lay), or just where my bath ends (under the last tile) if i lay it right to left
I am thinking the stronger weaver spruce due to it been tounge and grooved joins, and will have less chance of movement and squeeks
I am using Ardex 7001 on the floor and priming it with BAL APD Primer
Do I have to place anything over the joints, like the plasters jointing mesh??
