Money only, can't say i'm particularly passionate about tiling to be honest, but i do get a buzz from doing a great job (especially when it's a challenging one) and feel a sense of pride at the end of some job.

TJ Tiling as a business... i am a lot more passionate about that though.

Yes I do it for the money but I love what I do which makes it feel like getting paid for having a full time hobby!

Some days I love it and other days I can't be bothered, at the end of the day it's all about the money ! I like going out and pricing jobs and winning contracts etc.. Get a good buzz from all that

Just another notch on my belt. Times I enjoy it, times I hate it. There's no money in tiling though there should be. Comes part & parcel with doing a whole fit whether it being a bathroom or kitchen so make the money else where in the job

used to love tiling but now its just a job for me and the money, when you have done the same job since leaving school 32 years ago, its hard to find anything else to do that will give you the same to live on as tiling will, since I have been having problems with my knees and back....mainly due to tiles get stupidly big and heavy....ive come to the conclusion this job destroys your body....as do most trades in the building industry......would love a job sitting behind a desk. on 100k a year....cant see it ever happening though ..lol

Definitely for the money. The only part I really enjoy about tiling is the end of the job! Lol! I love that look on the customers face, when they're just blown away.. And the feeling of pride when you step back and just look at the work of art you've just created. Being quite a slow tiler, I find the rest of be process quite stressful, although most of that is due to working for other builders. If its my own job, and other builders are removed from the equation, it's a much more pleasant experience.

I wouldnt tile if there was no pay ! So I tile for money....if anyone wants to tile for no money I reckon I could find you work and I will hold onto the money Ok ? :smilewinkgrin:
