I had a bit of an accident this morning in my local builders merchants, I reversed into a 2 tonne pallet of plaster board. I hit it that hard the pallet nearly went over. The boss was okay about it even though I knocked the corners off half the boards

he said he can sell them as singles as they'll probably get cut up anyway but for a big job or new build they won't have them, he laughed about it fair play

I know we all prefer to use a backer board but there is no need to go on a plaster board killing spree!

the van stopped dead rich, hell of a bang, i nearly filled my trousers! i must have been half asleep, they'd just been delivered and for some reason i never seen them. i need a new lens now, the dent can stay there :lol:

Mike I reccon a "Paintless dent removal" man could fix that dent, a good man can work miracles as long as the paint hasn't cracked. I've used them a few times to fix trolley dents and bigger in cars etc,

i may enquire about that tommy but the panel has damaged bad due to the light being hit so hard, i can live with it for a year or 2 till i upgrade.

i cracked my plastic bumper reversing into a lampost mike, got a boy out, stitch welded the plasic down, filled and sanded and repainted for 85 sovs and it was a big crack 150 long and 10mm wide, i cant see the join

i won't get it done for that around here, and the lamp has been pushed in slightly causing the dents in the quarter panel. cheers anyway
