why I havent been out to work this week!

No surprise that I haven't worked this week.

I have been kept busy with clearing my cars and drive etc though. see the pics of my front garden (the audi next door is almost complety covered)

The back fence/ gate is 6ft

If last year is anything to go by then it seems things will only get worse.

All schools are closed throughout Edinburgh and West Lothian areas

Is it like this where you guys are?

I am not exagerating when I say that I need to clear it a few times each day, otherwise it turns to ice underneath.

The snow is realy starting to take its toll now to be honest.

it's nowhere near that bad round here in Stoke on Trent and the Staffordshire Moorlands. the main roads are clearer now and seem to be staying clear. I just need to clear the road in front of my house now so my car stops sliding off down the road when I park it up after getting it out of the garage.

same here tfs in east lothian,had enough im getting cabin fever so i went out and got winter tyres fitted,back to the graft to catch up tommorow..ill post some pics in a minute

It realy is a case of keeping on top of it isnt it. Some neighbours havn't bothered to clear there drives but when they need to they will have a hard time as the snow of hardend and underneath will be compressed.

Council hasnt done a great deal on the main roads here yet never mind the streets. I think the fact that there is regular periods of snow makes it difficult.

Haven't got pics as my phone is knacked but we have a good depth and up in the dales today ( 26mile away) they have around 18 inches now.. ... we have about a foot or so, maybe a bit more..
