Morning all.

Fun day ahead. Waiting for pictures to come in from a customer who's quartz tiles have fallen off the wall. A skimmed wall to be precise (weight exceeded). Spoken to the tiler..... he's used the wrong adhesive (a BAL one from Topps one that uses 6 litres of water per 20kg) which we think has caused the tile to slightly curl (needs testing for excessive moisture intake). 600x300x12 tiles...... 6mm trowel used! Adhesive applied to the tile, not the wall "cuz thats how he's always done it".

Oh, and did I mention the plaster wasn't even primed? No. He added the BAL APD, into the adhesive mix!!!!!!

But apparently, this tiler is perfect, never had any problems, and its the tile thats faulty....... Think not lovey. I'm surprised it even lasted a week!

All my close have all gone - happens when your old - but a special elderly lady ( just did her kitchen last year) and my wife's best friends mother.
Back now and a great day ( for a funeral).
