after the Thursday evening visit with a physiotherapist,
I applied two heating patches.
and this morning I'm better,
geoff and andy are chronically ill, I do not.
I have been going to the physiotherapist every week for 15 years.
apart from muscle strains, always caused by stress
working, I've never had problems
in the back.
ps. all good little granddaughter?
did you become a grandfather for the first time?

Good to hear mate, yes this is my first grandchild ( I’m only 37 ) and I’m picking her and my daughter up this morning to go visit family.

yes, there are chiropractors,
but I use physiotherapist.
it hurts more and costs less.

So this has turned out to be a fantastic morning. 20 minutes of absolute torture in the MRI scanner, pain in my back like never before. Radiologist says 'Are you in alot of pain?', I nod with gritted teeth and sweat pouring off my face. He then says- 'I'm not surprised, from what I've seen on your scan you shouldn't be able to walk!'
I'm now sat in A&E looking like a heroin addict in withdrawal waiting for the orthopaedic surgeon to see me. Apparently I have a stage 3 / stage 4 disc extrusion. Imagine jam in a doughnut..... my jam is almost on the plate!

It sounds like the Xmas break and a bit of r&r cant come soon enough for a lot of us.
