Morning . Driving to work today funny noise from van . Get out have a look and four loose bolts holding on front left wheel but actually there should be five .

Had a VW caravette where the cotter pin came out and the wheel fell off.
Happened twice 1) at traffic light and the van just wouldn’t move, it was jammed against the wheel arch. 2) doing its top speed of 60mph when it started to shake! Pulled into a lay by just as it fell off.
Happy days!

Why do people like the fact I may of been killed to death on the way to work .

Because it’s an acknowledgement of your post, nothing more.
Suggest another response other than a post expressing empathy at a time of day when they may be very busy.
What other response from those available would you suggest?
‘Optimistic’? (Right now, it may be a good idea!)
‘Funny’?
‘Winner’?
‘Creative’?
‘Useful’?
A negative response like ‘disagree’?

There isn’t one is there Jerry?
Everyone could obviously pass it by, and do or say nothing of course, but then you’d feel like ‘Billy no Mates’ and you’d probably stop posting in this thread before long.
Those of us who take the time to post in this thread everyday show our mutual respect for each other by liking the morning post.
Personally I read every post, I don’t blindly ‘like’ it,
sometimes not until the next morning, admitttidly.
So don’t be so bloody paranoid and be thankful there people out there willing to take the time to read about your predicament.

And besides, 4 wheel nuts is no big deal, that’s how you do actually deal with a situation when somehow or other a big fairy comes down and nicks all your wheel nuts when you’re changing a wheeel, and that is to take one from every other wheel. It’s certainly safe enough to get you to a garage.
