Hi.
I bought a steel hull narrowboat a little while ago, on which the previous owner had installed a lovely little wood burning (technically multi-fuel actually) stove, with aesthetically appropriate black tiles underneath and on the surrounding walls. Lovely. But after a couple of times firing it up, tiles starting jumping off the walls, revealing fairly alarmingly flammable-looking plywood.
So, time to start again.
This is a tiling forum, so don't want to go too far into flammable materials etc - suffice to say, I will be replacing the ply with 6mm fire resistant masterboard. Raising the question - considering that this boats vibrate when the engine is on, get as cold as outside when left alone for a day, and these tiles will be next to a fire, mounted on masterboard....
What adhesive to use?
Huge thanks in advance,
Mark
