It's debatable what you would do there. I suppose 3 options - 1) Do as Doug has done to keep the large tiles intact. 2) Split the tiles so you have a join down the middle of the width 3) Make the mosaics wider

It's personally preference really on what each person thinks looks better. Think I would have been tempted to make the mosaic wider but then that might not have been an option depending on what was happening in the rest of the room.

I wouldn't of made the mosaic wider i would of just gone half tile from the mosaic then would give the right hand corner half and half but i suppose that would be down to prefference and also how it falls on the wall to the left. Not questioning dougs descision though

originally the mosaics were to be a full sheet wide, but that would have left a 20mm slither cut into the corner, so I gave the options to the customer and we agreed to half the width of the mosaics, so we could avoid a slither.

I'm having the same problems at the mo,with mosaics and furniture ,in 3 bathrooms, nowt works, if I centre the walls everything's out,if I centre the toilet ,the sinks out,if I centre the sink the showers out ,if I centre the window the floor would look odd and the shower would be out, if I just went to the pub instead I would be out but extremely happy 🙂
