People on here are very helpful

But you tilers that have done apprentiships and have been tiling for years upon years do you's not feel cheated when people like myself try and take short cuts and go on a weeks course then try start up in the tiling buisness and try and charge the same prices as your selfs?

But again i must say from what i've read the people on this forum are very helpful and don't seem to hold back on the advise.

Just wondering what people thoughts are on this

There has\is a couple on here that I think feel this way, have read comments along these lines a couple of times, but on the whole 99% it isn't an issue.

Hi graham mate.....

If i was threatened by any newcomers to tiling then i would not be on this forum...

I take great pleasure in helping you new guy's out and if i or any other pro on

here can pass some knowledge onto you guy's then that's reward enough for me.

I think everybody deserves a break in life and re-training is one way some peeps

get another chance at it..

So that's why forums like these work with genuine members who are here to help

if we can.....:grouphug:  ... Thats my bit.. .....good luck ........

very refreshing outlook
I endorse all of dh's comments..I have made many very good friends on these forums...to be honest I would be lost without it.Plus wouln't want to go back to watching the crap on telly....Gaz :computer:

nah i dont feel cheated as the knowledge and skill you gain in those four years is miles better than sum1 doing a four week course or wot ever in tiling and then calling themselfs a tiler and i know for a fact that tradesman dont class those ppl as real tilers

If you can give solid advise to help some of the newbies whats the problem, their asking which is a good sign rather than let them struggle and mess up

i agree there mate, whats wrong with asking and helping, i was taught learn to earn and train to gain, good philosophy thats what helped me lol
