New van Electrical Advice

New van Discussion ThreadNew van Electrical Advice

I'm doing my usual nonsense by obsessing about something months in advance. 😀
I'm due to change my van in January.
I have a VW Transporter that I am more than happy with but it's a lease and has to go.
Given the choice I'd just get another VW but it looks like the next Transporter is a Transit custom under another name.
Does anyone have the new Ford Transit Custom?
If so what are your thoughts?

I did as asked, and discovered it was a government backed...

Is this cable cord suitable? Electrical Advice

Is this cable cord suitable? Discussion ThreadIs this cable cord suitable? Electrical Advice

Hello,

I am an expat living in Estonia.
My wife bought this picture light box from a second hand shop. It seems hand made when I took it apart. Looking at the cable and how thin the wiring is, is this okay plugged in to 230v? It seems a very thin cable to me to be carrying 230v.

Was hoping to pick your brains regarding a job that had me scratching my head today.
