On a site (NHS in fact) and they have SolarEdge inverters of which a few appear to have failed. I don't normally touch anything solar (17th edition here.... just doing 18th).

The original installer has walked away and Solaredge refuse to help.

Hi, Ive got a couple of Megger PAT 450 testers, and, for a number of reasons, Im not happy with the printer it comes with.

Does anyone on here use that tester? what I'd like is an option to print a branded barcode/pass label with my company details on it, I've spoken to Megger and they wouldn't give much info bar telling me the printer I have is the one that they supply!!!

Evening chaps. What's the rules on this? I can't specifically see anything relative to the 19 stranded cables.

My boss says he won't crimp in consumer units, avoid it all costs, he rather strip a whole house down or add additional boxes than use a single crimp. Fair play to him.

My friend has a conundrum regarding earthing the metal parts of his garage. I have a VW Transporter that I am more than happy with but it's a lease and has to go.
Given the choice I'd just get another VW but it looks like the next Transporter is a Transit custom under another name.
