Edit May 2024: THIS is a New Show Us Your Work Thread for 2024 Onwards

This is the new Tilers Showcase Forum where we want new tiling work added, with each tiling job you complete having a thread of its own so people can see what kind of work you do, and potential customers can find your work

I thought it was about time we had a thread dedicated to all members of Tilers forums to show us any work that they do.

Be it from installing a kitchen to garden decking. Show us your work! Get those pictures taken, but then do something with them! Actually add them to a thread and some facebook groups with your website link in them etc and it'll help spread the tile love. :)

If you have done a job then please do share it with us.

Pics are a MUST as what is the point of sharing a job without them...

So if you do a job and you take a few pics then please do share it with us.

Lets make it a big thread for all to view and input in.

Thanks Dave ..:thumbsup::thumbsup:

the corners of pool had an inverted quarter circle which also presented a problem, only because the client wanted to see the same margin of water line around perimeter of pool on semi submerged pool coping.

taking in to consideration that we had to have fall back in to pool anyway the only way was to fix this sections high and then we ground the corner areas down afterwards to get an even line to pool water line .
you cannot see very well the genuine antique jerusalem random reclaimed stone on pool shower walls and feature walls .
we also used antique grey barr for radiused steps to dining area and jacuzzi. to get a good finish we used a needle gun.
area at bottom of waterfall end was random mixture of stones boned to darin without mitres.
all corner pad stones were ground down after fixing as i had an obsession at the time about mitres on corner of copings that i though unsightly.
i now takea slighgtly diffrent view at times as it is so hard to grind and hone stone on site to match finish from factory.

ceiling was the first of this type i had seen. it was a stretched rubber of sorts. we arrived one day just after it was fitted and there had been a huge leak . it was sagging in middle and touching the pool . they simply sucked the water out and heated it up and stretched back tight. Amazing.
all the bullnosing and quarter rounds and special degree bit made for waterfall end was done with a simple de walt router adapted for water.think it only cost £ 500.00 . what a great tool.
pool corners and roman end werent perfect but made a swinging arm as near to a true radius as poss and then reduced the angled cuts to copings and grilles to get as near as 30mm overhang as poossible to mosaics underneath,

havent seen ....

its from the same area in bavaria like the jura limestone arround eichstätt. i did a lot of solnhofner platten floors. every rich farmer here wants them. its a classic one. last year i have a big house full with them and big steeping tiling but no foto from it. the bigger the tiling that more expensive. and they have no flat surface.
the finish of the floor is bruchrauh.
the polished ones looking completly diffrent and is used in most of our churches. here´s the same stone polished:

and this called sauberkeitsschliff, one time sanded:

finished the white glass mosaik. its a very nice contrast to the 120x60 nero assoluto imitation tiles.

heres a job i talked a time ago from. i make the cad and templates for the bathub border and the one peace shower tray. we orderd it and it fits very well.
the rendering and peparing for mosaik was a challange. now i have to make the template for the cover. the bench in the shower is made of a 2cm thick porcelaingres tile i brick in the walls 7 cm.
