Refresh On The Box Sets Of Tile Drill From 365-drills Drilling Holes 2016

It has been painful (painfully slow!) BUT slowly I am refreshing the box set range for the diamond core tile drills.

There will be a new look box. It has different (stronger) hinges as well as stronger locks.

And now instead of offering TWO box sets there will be THREE box set options.

The third box set of tile drills was developed because I was really keen to offer the exsiting Bathroom Fitters Kit which is supplied as a clear clam shell into boxed drilling solution.

So this will give you more choice in tile drilling options. It will now be:

1) Box set "small" will cotain ten tile drills (ignore the pic) 5 x 6mm 2 x 8mm 1 x 40mm 1 x 30mm 1 x 16mm 1 x guide plate 1 x sponge 1 x cleaning hook 1 x box

2) Box set "medium" [Essential] will contain twelve tile drills 4 x 6mm 4 x 8mm 1 x 45mm 1 x 35mm 1 x 25mm 1 x 18mm 1 x guide plate 1 x sponge 1 x cleaning hook 1 x box

3) Box set "large" [Ultimate] will contain 30 diamond core tile drills.

The sets have been designed after feedback from tilers (like yourself) as well as retailers.

This forum which we have supported from the start has always been a useful two way conduit allowing us to adapt the product offerings as a result of your input.

This Bathroom Fitters Kit (above) at £49.99 [£41.66 + VAT] has always been the backbone to whatever we have supplied. At £7 a drill it offers execption value for money. However the feedback has been for a case to hold the contents. And so by bundling the water cooling sponge and the cleaning hook with it we can offer more. Not sure yet about the pricing structure. But working on it!

My feedback is I wouldn't bother with the 6mm, I find them too hard to eject the cores from, If it requires a 6mm rawlplug, I drill an 8mm hole in the tile, and a 6mm hole in the wall

Agreed! However.... We have designed this rather nifty J-Hook. It's capable of pushing out all debris
in the 6mm plus other size diamond core tile drills.

It comes provided in the box sets. And is available as a seperate item.

The slots we cut into each diamond drill allow access for the bar to push out tile dust, plasterboard, grout, adhesive plus anything else that gets trapped up there.

I totally agree with you that out of the entrie range the 6mm is the most difficult to look after.

Better to use 8mm. But the market will not give up on 6mm and so we have to supply what the demand calls for.

I wish we didn't have to! But I hope that the use of the 365Drills J-Hook is a useful tool to get the longest life out of diamond cores.

Its a one off purchase. And they do last for ages (I have had mine for 3 years - still going!)
