mine was a datsun 1200..


a right pile of poo, but when your 17 and just past your test it was as good as a ferrari.


and my first bike was a suzuki AP50..



when i was 16 you were either an AP50 or fizzy rider.

so then what was your first car.......might be able to tell the age of some of you :lol:

The first one that was just mine, not shared with anyone, was a Toyota Starlet, and I had it sprayed black and put a turbo badge on the back... :lol: I loved that car...

Mk2 Capri, surley no one's that cool.
Mine was an orange Triumph Toledo. I loved it. Blew a head gasket, as they often did.

back (& stuck) in the '70's Austin A40 - not a great looker, but had some laughs in it, scared my friends & other drivers a bit in it too, won't mention writing it off! :yikes:

MK 4 Escot XR3 Was named Eddie for some reason :lol:

Just counted up had 14 Cars/Vans in 11 years of driving mostly Ford/VW, loved them all tho only 1 had a name.

1985 C reg Orion 1.6i ghia, I can even remember the reg was C760 KVV! It cost me a grand and it was 1100 quid to insure 3rd party when I was 17!

yamaha RD 50m when I was 16 ( had a maloshi 75cc big bore kit on it ) then got a fantic gabalero 50

First car Triumph Herald (1959 was 26 years old), 2nd car 1966 MG midget and still got it 25 years later

mine was a mini, i worked in a garage so me and the lads sooped it up, wide wheels and a 1300 engine and loads of spots. i remember the reg too, mep 208k. i had my one and only bike before that a fizzy, fs1e. after that i got a viva with a fur dashboard :lol::lol:

First car for me was a Mk1 Escort Mexico, closely followed by a Mk2 Escort RS after being hit by a bus in my first week after passing my test. My first bike was a Fizzy 50 that was a complete wheelie machine.
