I broke a tile today. So what, I hear you ask!
The tile was 3m x1m :yikes:. It sort of took off in the wind when I tried to take it out of the crate. It's called Techlam and it comes in 3mx1m sheets. The Youtube video claims it is light, strong, flexible, easy to cut bla bla bla. In my experience it is just like trying to handle a large mirror, it snaps like a mirror too. I was sent on a job to cut and install this in a new build. I managed to cut a 2m x 1m length in the rain and in the middle of a building site. However, I came unstuck because I could not get it up the tight staircase! I now have to ask the help from the site manager and he is going to try and get a few of the lads to lift the tiles into the house through a window. Anyone else have experience from this rubbish product? I also have to cut a 2.4m X .75 for a shower on the 1st floor of the house and a 2.2m X .9m for the 2nd floor shower. Tomorrow is going to be fun
