    Wow really, so you think there's more of a risk with the mat rather than without? That's worrying when Tilers with you guys experience are talking of failures and not using decouplers again. What about Ditra anyone recommend or have experience with?

    I've only used mat a few times and always layed with keraflex mosaic troweled and go over with grout float to ensure coverage. You guys have more experience with this than me but do you think guys an appropriate method of fixing? How to tell between new mat and old?

    Id of thought that as long as mat was bedded correctly to sub using a flexible adhesive that it would be of benefit but of course if the mats not bedded correctly then your in trouble. Think I'd still use it as benefits are good, i think:lol:

    I use a Norton clipper 200 which has saw me ok but more jobs are coming in where tiles are 400-600mm adn slate/travertine etc and am finding it akward when having to push big tiles through and am wondering if anyone has advice on wet saws bearing in mind I cant go to to a Dewalt as much as Id...

    Ah really, sounds good will have a look in topps tomorrow. It's only a couple of bricks that are like that the rest is concrete. Would it be an idea just to render the damaged bricks then bed tile using thick bed add like kera flex or render the look only ask as other side is ok so prob best...

    Kilty I'm using keraflex which can be used up to 15mm deep bed. Only worry was couple of bricks where that powder way but think is I prime the damaged brick work then use keraflex it should be ok....in my head but u might be trying to convince myself. What you think?
