    You can't guarantee an overall even result because of the firing process for the glaze, also the manufacturers are probably trying to counteract grout seepage rather than encourage it. Try using a runny consistency of black grout on a spare tile: if you can't get the effect you're looking for...

    If you're buying your tiles from Porcelanosa please spend a bit more money and get a decent tiler to do the job for you. You sound a little inexperienced in tiling and it would be a terrible shame if you didn't get it right.

    We've had a Bosch level for a while now and it's pretty useful in a big space with lots of reveals/awkward bits. I always check with a spirit level as well though just to back it up.
