    Backer board under bath

Using wedi style backer board for tiling bathroom floor. Will be a standard bath going in & wondered do you just board up to where the bath will go, leaving the bath to just sit on the floorboards or board the whole floor and site the bath on the backer board too? Thanks

Laying out on tiled bath panel

Quick one to check I'm on the right track - I'm planning to do a tiled bath panel (with access panel using some Schluter magnets). Am I right in thinking I should have cuts below the bath rim and cuts down onto the floor? It'll be about 560 mm high, tiles are 200 mm high, so I'm thinking to...

Schluter Kerdi wall - to bath or floor?

I was watching a film on Youtube about installing a Schluter Kerdi-Board wall beside a bath. You will notice from the attached picture that the installer is about to install a Kerdi-Board from the bath up. Do you think it would be okay to install the Schluter Kerdi-Board wall first from the...

Tiling beside bath - tile from floor or bath up?

I had assumed that when tiling on the long wall beside a bath that the bath would be installed and tiling would commence from the bath up. A tiler informed me that he usually tiles from the floor up first, then once completed, the bath is installed. It means if the bath is changed to a new bath...

    Thickness of Sealent Around Bath?

Hello, I wonder if anyone would mind advising if the thickness of sealent applied around my bath is normal? My concern is that it's been applied so thick to fill in a gap between the tiles and the bath. Many thanks in advance for the help and advice.

My 1st Job Tiling under bath for panel fitment

Hi, Your advice please. I wish to tile part way under a bath so the side/end panels will be in contact with these tiles. Its a P shaped bath. The tiles are 9mm, what distance should I allow for with the adhesive and tile so the panels just touches the tiles. Thanks Bob
