    interesting alternative to black grout

    instead of using black grout today on a job i bought some black cement pigment and mixed it with my usual grey grout ;the results were very good no hassle cleaning the tiles and a nice black finish;will be using this method more often now depending on tiles etc ;

    Unibond black Silicon.

    Customer was supplied with some unibond black Silicon... Well what a pile of poo it is IMO. Gunned the Silicon in and then a quick spray with soapy water for tooling in , and then it started with dissolve FFS .. Ahhhhh had to clean it all back out with Silicon wipes... 45 mins later ...

    Hi I appreciate this has been asked before but I've removed vinyl tiles and as much of the black adhesive below and I'm wondering what I need to do now. Should I prime it with a normal primer or something like bal bond sBR? Do I brush them on neat or add water to them? Any advice appreciated
