I'm undecided about Tiling on Brick wall.
The fitter has agreed to remove remaining layer of mortar back to the Brick Wall.
I am in no doubt there will be areas on the Brick Wall that will bear some minor damage.
The issue is, do I get the damaged parts filled in before tiling...

I have a small section of garden wall, single skin made with one sided bricks. So a small section of the back of the wall is visible showing the ugly side of the brick. I'd like to cut some brick slips and tile over this side.

I have some 150x600 porcelain tiles to do in a kitchen its only going to be 2 high on 3 walls and then the full wall on the hob/cooker wall..

Using 40 x 20cm tiles in half brick bond. Small bathroom, short wall is 135cm with sink and bath side by side. Window above sink but not directly above. I am inclined to center a tile on the window sill and work out the pattern from there. Would like to know your point of view. :idea3:
