    Mapei UCP or Bal Micromax2?

    Bal fast flex

    I have had my first experience of this stuff over the last few days and I must say this is what all adhesives should be like ! lightweight, sticky as hell and easily mixed !! The price is the only sticking issue !!! Just remember to price in a couple pairs of gloves with this stuff !!!

    SPF Dunlop and Bal

    Dunlop SPF is considerably less expensive than Bal's - at less than half price. I've used Dunlop's and taken the floor up in a bathroom, and it seemed to perform well, though it hadn't had much water on it during that time. Anyone reccomend Dunlop's product alongside Bal etc?

    BAL SP1 for niches

    I have two niches to do and was wondering if BAL SP1 kit was the best product to use to seal. Due to the construction, it may have to go over treated timber. Or is there something cheaper/better on the market which would be more appropriate. Thank you.

    Bal Mat ? anyone used it ?

    Had a Rep from bal come and see me, selling the benefits of bal mat 1mm, less adhesive blah blah blah... in theory sounds great.... but anyone used it... ? I'm ditra and to be honest require a track record of this product... as many tilers came a cropper with products like plastic ply etc...
