Tiling into one corner with large 600x300 porcelain tiles. The wall to the right on the photo is exactly 2 1/2 tiles wide so at the corner there will be either a full tile or half one.
Do i carry the cut 300mm half round the corner, and in the course above/below join a full one to a full one...

Hi peeps, this is my first diy tile job in a small box room of the kitchen.
I have started on the main wall as you go into the room, I used a straight starting baton and have tiled outwards and have now got to first internal corner.
So I cut the edge tiles leaving a gap for the Silicon as you...
I'm a newbie to tiling and thought I'd start with a little job of a few mosaic tiles as a splash back behind a new corner sink. I've instantly run into problems - the sink isn't square/level to the corner. I can either line the tiles up with the corner and they aren't level with the sink, or I...

Hi all. New here. I'm not a DIY person but I'm going to have a go at removing some grout (I bought a grout rake today) and either re-grouting, or using Silicon. I've just spent a small fortune on my flat over the last few months, (kitchen, bathroom, central heating, windows, etc) with a new...
Hi, first time posting and still cutting my teeth!
I have a job which involves an external corner that has already been tiled on one wall with a trim to finish, drawing attached. The customer would like the second wall tiling now but I can't get my head round what to do with the corner. If I...
Would someone please try and settle a difference in opinion between my wife & myself re tiling into a corner. Photos attached, she says it would look better with two full tiles abutting in the corner then two half tiles below. Q: Who is right, either or both! Pics attached, sorry but I couldn't...
After some advice on an external corners that is running slightly out from bottom to top.
Should I cut the tiles to the greatest width? The edge will be covered by trim, just concerned that the other edge will sit slightly lower than the trim level.
Any advice appreciated. (diyer)
Hi there. Id be really grateful for some advice. I am ready to start tiling a corner shower. Tray is in and the tanking is almost dry. I am planning to use 20x30 metro-style tiles in a brick layout. Ive done some tiling on a kitchen wall before but never a shower. What Id like some guidance on...
Which is the best way to finish a corner reveal. I really don't like using trims, whether they be plastic or metal corner trims. Is the only other way to 45 degree the edges which will be a pain as they are porcelaine tiles. This is mainly for the corners around windows.
Thanks
do any of the trim manufacturers make a corner piece for 90 degree trim? it has to be 3 way. the reason i could do with it is for a tiled bath panel and i want to avoid the sharp corner if possible. i've never found the need for them before. cheers
Hi,
My tiler has spent over an hour trying to fix a corner trim to a concealed toilet box he built.
He has a problem aligning the corner trim to the 4 other pieces that is inter-related.
I have attached a photo - using the tile corner trim, aligning it to the left edge trim and the bottom trim...
Not sure if I have used enough Silicon on this job. Or if I should have splashed out on Cornertape.
I am just worried there doesnt appear to be enough Silicon to hold the joint
I suppose using so little means its not noticable that there is a Silicon bead
So I am currently undertaking my first tiling job (my kitchen) and so far so good.
But as I am just doing a splash back I have a 3 way join in the window.
Followed the 3 way mitre instructions with no joy and then found out that it isn't possible with the Homelux trim.
Therefore just wondered...
Hi
Firstly, apologies for being a total beginner, and possibly asking some dumb questions but I would really appreciate some help!
I am attempting to tile a quadrant shower, and have realised that the corner is out of square. From the shower tray to the top of the tiling (1900mm) it decreases...
Hey guys
I'm completely gutting our bathroom (walls/ceiling and floor)
I'm putting up 12.5mm marmox board on all the walls and fitting a 900x900 showerstone tray in the corner direct to joists, surrounded by 18mm ply and 4mm marmox board.
My question for today is...
A) Do I fit the wall...
