A customer of mine wants me to make him a couple of corner shelves.
I'v made plenty in marble etc but these ones are in porcelain AND............ i already have the shower tiled :yikes:

hi , anyone no anywhere where i can get some 8 or 10mm white corners / buttons to finish off trims ? customer hates mitres and i havent done any 3 way mitres before
I will have ceramic tiles coming down onto prcelein floor tiles. However the floor tiles have and anti slip surface on them.
Going about sealing the way I normally do will give me a problem. The anti slip surface (loads of small diamond protrusions on them) will snag the Silicon.
Can anyone...
I've recently had my kitchen floor tiled with 60x60 polished porclain floor tiles. After two weeks 2 tiles have cracked these are tiles that have been cut round external corners. Is this due to the way the tiles have been cut? the tiles are fixed to a solid concrete floor.
Also there seems to...

Hi...Cleaning up bathroom on house we have just moved to.
Its fully tiled and in the shower end of the bath down the corner was a 25mm x 25mm upvc angle which just did not look right.

The gap in the corner of the tiles is about 1-3mm and...
I have a project where the travertine is intersecting a laid-up stone with a rough surface. What is the best way to seal/construct this joint? Mitered? Silicon-sealed? Metal profile? Thanks!

Hi Guys and Ladies,

Hi. Does anyone know where I can get external corner pieces in either ivory or beige? It would also be useful to know where you can get other colours except white/chrome.
Thankyou
Can anyone help please. I have just had my shower re-tiled, and there was a half inch gap at the internal corners, which the tiler had filled with grout [he said he couldn't cut the tiles that small]. The grout looked bad, so he has now fitted a chrome corner strip, top to bottom on all four...
I'm tiling a bath frame (bath box) and triming the edges with chome/stainless steel trim. One of the corners is rounded but its a bit too sharp for normal curvable tile trim. Does anyone know where I can get tile trim that will bend to a sharper curve?

I have an external corner joint coming up and am not mad on the idea of having to go and buy tile trim, but will do if necessary.
Are there any posts on here that show pictures of various ways of doing joints.
I have the option of overlapping one tile with the other, having them meet and...

This week I have been renovating a bathroom for a couple who got a bad tiling job done on their bathroom by some cowboy. After 4 years the lady of the house can't look at it any longer so its a complete stripout and redo.
I felt sorry for them and was determined that everything would be spot on...
