Hi,
I have recently purchased some Limestone tiles from a supplier on the internet. The tiles have now arrived but the quality of the cut seems poor.
The edges of 99% of the tiles contain at least one chip, lots of the tiles have small pieces of the corner missing.
Having never purchased...

I am tiling a bathroom and would like to avoid using tile trim. I've been searching for glazed edge tiles and have only found non-vitreous tiles from villeroy & boch which have glazed edges. However they are smaller format tiles and I would like the larger more modern style tiles. Does anybody...
Hi
I'm doing a little diy tiling and need to ask about the best way to do corners with the plastic tile edging. I don't have a problem with a window with the 45 degree cuts to make a square edge. The real problem I'm having is a wall that is half tiled and goes around into the window. This...
Hi all,
I am looking for a tile edge which I can put on after tiling. I couldn't make my mind up which one to get before my tiler done the job, so now I am after something that will finish off the look. The tiles are floor to mid-height of the ceiling, so just shy of much eye level.
I was...

Hi Everyone,
With this kind of travertine being laid in the french pattern, how do you accommodate the smaller square tile in the pattern?
On dry laying the tiles, the smaller square seems to be the one that throws the grout joints out. Am i'm right in saying that the smaller square should be...

Just wondering, if folk tend to still mitre the corners???

Do you guys Silicon around the perimeter of a tiled bathroom floor or grout?
I would have thought Silicon is the best option in the same way that Silicon should be applied to all room corners so as to allow for building movement (i.e. grout would crack).
Hi Guys
I decided on the white grout in the end and thought I'd share my so far pics!!
Next job is glitter grout on bathroom floor - pics to follow...
Thanks again to everyone for their advice! I'm pleased as punch!
Hi all,
This is my 1st post on this great forum, hope you can help.
I want to ceramic tile the bathroom floor, currently floorboards. Originally I intended to put 6mm backer of some sort over the top, and found this forum while looking for best practice. However having read a number of threads...
Hello,
I am about reayd to tile and have bought a white plastic tile edge to go on the ends of tile were it meets painted wall and round windows. How are these fitted?

Hi I have tumbled edge lime stone tiles, about 10 mm thick, when cut is there a quick and easy way to make the cut edge look tumbled ie the same as the other three uncut sides .

Hi Guys
This might be a really stupid question and excuse me if it is, but would black grout look silly with the above tiles? I think white tends to make them look a bit cheap, they are going in both my kitchen and bathroom.
I think in the bathroom white would be fine with the white suite...
I apologise if this has asked before because I'm sure it must have been but I have searched through the threads and couldn't find a similar question.

Hi All

We are about to start the process of replacing our existing bathroom.
We will be using 10mm thick marble tiles and understand the current skimmed plasterboard walls will not support the weight of these.
I intend to pull down all the existing plasterboard, (one wall dot and dab, the three...
I am using ceramic wall tiles 20 by 25cm, 7mm thick in my bathroom.
I will have cut ie jagged edge of the tiles at the window sides and top, I have seen homelux 9mm pvc trim at B&Q which is curved and you would be able to hide the cut edge by sliding it under is that the correct way to use it...
