The wife has chosen some tiles that are 602x300x9mm porcelain wall tiles. They weigh 4kgs each, meaning a weight of 22.15Kg per m2.
Can someone tell me what the weigh of the adhesive is likely to be?
I dont know what notched trowel...

i have 8sqm to tile with 300mm square tiles, the tiles will go on to heating mat which in turn will sit on 6mm insulation board.
i will be using flexible...
Thanks for posting this forum on the internet, moderaters. The reason I have joined (and I am not a professional tiler or have any great experience) is that I will post a specific question regarding grout problems, a strange question which I hope someone can answer. We live in the sunny...
I thought I'd start to make a thread I add links to. The links are to other threads we've had posted to the forum where either a DIYer has done it wrong, or a person has got a "professional tiler" in and either not checked their credentials, gone for the cheapest quote, not had them recommended...
Hi, this is my first post on this site so please forgive any silly thoughts.
I am gutting my kitchen and have purchased 15 sq m of porcelain semi glazed tiles 600x600 mm. I have read loads and discover that I need to put down a new subfloor and rip up the current old chipboard. My intention...

Hey guys.
