We will be tiling 3 bathrooms in a grade 2 listed building next month. Two of them are upstairs and have rather uneven old floorboards. As those boards are part of the "historic fabric" I cannot damage them with adhesive of any kind so I have to overboard them, again without adhesive. I think...

First of all, hello, I'm a newbie (have some rental properties which I work on) and am redoing our bathroom at home and creating an en-suite.
After tiling the en suite myself I decided to employ a tiler to do the main bathroom (also my wife insists, quite rightly).
I've had 3 tilers look at...

It's been a good few years since I've tiled. And I'm not about to break that trend. But I was thinking about tile adhesive for floorboards after reading another thread and wondered what options are available now.
It was only BAL Fastflex 2-part when I was tiling. But I believe now there are...

The Hardie Backer is 800mm wide, the toilet is 830mm. Is it OK to have a 20mm strip of Hardie Backer on one side? I could not screw it down then. Or should I...

Kitchen is currently floorboards and dining room is concrete. Both areas are level.
Customer wants 1200x400 wood effect porcs to cover both areas (approx. 15sqm).
I have not seen the job, but if the boards are sound and have no deflection, then could the whole area be Ditra’d (new word)...
Finished this kitchen floor job today, and the client asked could I stick some grout in between the tiles in the utility room as the grout keeps cracking! It's not grout I told her you need its a complete re tile! Previous tiler has tiled directly onto the floorboards , with non flexi adhesive (...
I want to tile the upstairs bathroom floor with 300mm square trav. It's *not* a wetroom.
The room is about 2m x 2.5m, with a lot of this covered by shower and bath.
I've seen advice that says I should:
1. Overboard the floor with 15mm WBP - with lots and lots of screws.
2. Stick down 6mm...
