Hi my tiler screeded my bathroom floor 4 days ago and it hasnt fully cured in places. There also a white powdery residue on top.
In some places where its thinnest it has set. In other places not so well - you can walk on it but i tried scraping some of the white residue and slithers of screed...

Hey Everyone,
Been a while! I'm looking to revive my tiling career/working with an experienced tiling contractor. Currently not got a van, but have own transport. I'm based in South Manchester, so looking for work around this area. If anyone wants an experienced tiler to cut/mix and fix with...
Started as a re grout and now....
Obvs the whole wall is gonna have to come off as well as those really nice green tiles behind, but what's the best course of action for that nasty crack on the wall.
Cheers
Peace out
Muff.
Hi Everyone, This is my first post. I'm looking to tile around my cloakroom corner sink with tavertine mosaic tiles, then along the adjoining wall along a worktop (see attached pics).
I'm looking to use jasmine grout with these tiles, but am undecided about edging trim (white, beige, none? I'd...

Hi we excitedly choose some porcelain floor tiles for our kitchen and bathroom, but think the tradesman did a poor job of laying. Is there any way of rescuing without starting all over again? It's like walking on a rope bridge the floor is so uneven. So disappointed and feel very hard done by...

Hi all. In line with my other thread asking for some opinions on tiling layouts for my bathroom reno redo, here are some pictures showing why I’m not happy with the current install. Let me know if I’m just being fussy.
I supplied the tile, which was approved by the tiler (who was also the...

Have a bathroom installation in process. Has become clear that the company is not good at tiling. First of all, they tiled at different levels on opposite walls, so when the adjoining wall was tiled, the tiles didn't line up.
They re-did it, but have left a gap between the ceiling and tiles of...
My wife and I recently had a new kitchen and bathroom fitted and we’re not best pleased with the finish. Are we wrong to be unhappy about this tiling job? We’d appreciate some feedback from the experts please.
Thank you

We have our regular scheme in Broxtowe that needs a tiler on.
The work is regular, (and has been for the last 7 years!), although not always 5 days a week...
Kitchens, Bathrooms, Voids.....all tiles kept in our container down the road.
If you are happy just doing this work we let you know...
1st- when doing a kitchen splashback, when finishing off do you have to Silicon around the bottom where the tiles sit on the worktop??
2nd- are there any methods when using adhesive to mix in the wall sealant with it so you dont have to wait for the walls to dry before tiling ?
thanks ..

Hi guys,
I'm currently on my first job after finishing the 9 day course with UK Pro Tiling Training, which I must add was absolutely brilliant!!!
So after removing the 7m2 area of mosaic tiles the plaster behind the tiles just crumbled off the wall due to previous leaks.

hello all,
I have posted on this site before but not for a while ( I promise to try harder!). This a great forum and is of great support to me.
I have been tiling for approx 15 years. Not full time but more part time as part of my other roles within the property business. I have learnt all I...
Evening chaps. DIY disaster here. Renovating my bathroom.
Going to be laying a LOT of tiles (nice wee metro tiles). Thought I'd join and what not so I can thank people for advice and ask questions.
