Hi all,
I have quoted for a job using 600x600mm tiles (240 metres) and now the tiles have changed to 1000x1000mm tiles (20mm thick). I'm difficulty quoting for this now as it will take two tilers to lay each tile. Any advice on how much to charge per metre?
Many thanks,
Ben.
Hi lads what’s the best latex for laying on a heated floor as a finished floor? And also what’s the best sealer for it? Been out of the domestics to long now and not my thing anymore.
If I have already laid the matting, either in SLC or rapid flexy adhesive, allowed it time to set / dry and I am then going to spread & lay some more flexy on top for the tiles... Is it better to use a notched trowel or not. I'm thinking that if I use a notched trowel to even the spread of...
Hi Guy's,
Saturday will be my first time laying Hardie boards. Hardie 250 boards are going down onto an 18mm ply, level and deflection free floor (level to within 1/8" across any span). I gather the recommended method is SPF with 6mm notched trowel. This part is going to sound like a silly...

Hello All. I am about to lay some reclaimed terracotta tiles. I have some LTP sealer to seal them before laying and grouting. My question is, should I seal the back or just the surface that will show?
Thanks.

Hey all, Would it be ok to use a bigger trowel when over boarding slightly uneven floor boards with hardy? Don't feel confident using SPF with a 6mm trowel, not sure if it will fill the voids
