    chalk line v laser level

    Am i right in thinking that, you would use a laser level instead of a chalk or pencilled line when setting out a floor? if so wouldn't a laser level just get knocked about, losing the original line?

    Straight line

    Doing a large kitchen floor tomorrow and was after a few tips on how to get my straight line. The kitchen is a strange setup and there is sod all to get my angles from, even the work tops are a weird in and out curvy shape. Any tips would be great. Thanks

    centre line

    if i tile a cloakroom I normally go off centre of toilet. Whats the best way of getting a straight line to the door. I use a laser square which is good but how to point it in the right direction. cheers
