Hi. I’m not happy with this finish as I think it looks messy. In an ideal world we could have got a bigger bath or boxed it in with a stud wall but neither option would have worked given out limited space all round. What’s the best way to finish this gap between the bath and wall? I was thinking...
Hi, a few tiles keep falling off in the shower enclosure.
Any tips on the best material to use to replace the plaster. Pink area in the middle.
Thinking sand and cement (4/1 parts) or aquapanel piece screwed in.
thanks,

Hi,
My new 5ltr container of Laticrete hydroban is seriously lumpy - the whole body is one big jelly mass with some pale green liquid on top. Does it just need mixing, or has the pack gone off? Picture below. (It's a batch that says use by 18/09/20).
I'd be really grateful for any...

Have you...
I am about to start tiling the walls and have spent a long time planning the setting out of all the walls. The result being that I need to tile down on to on to a raised tiled shower tray. Because the shower tray has a fall I will need to take a small amount off the bottom of some full tiles for...

Hi, purchased some off white polished porcelain tiles. I wanted grout to match them as close as possible.
Tiler has used mapei Jasmine but it looks like a yellow colour against the tiles.
Do you have any recommendations to an alternative grout that would be a better match?
Thanks

I don't know if you call it 'hardboard' in the USA but that's what we call it here: a shiny on one side brown stuff made of compressed something or other. Very cheap.
Used on ceilings and generally painted over. This time I've found a place where they glued those very light foam plastic...

Hello everyone,
I would like to know how to decide which tile adhesive based on its tensile bond/pull off strength corresponds to which size of tile.
For example, if I would like to install 30*60cm wall tile, tensile bond/pull off strength of tile adhesive needs to be higher than kgf/cm^2 at...
How best would you mark out out the tile for cutting in this situation where the recess is narrower than a whole tile?
Same for the wall that comes off the recess to the right.
Normally i overlay the tile to be cut on top of the second from last tile(which would be arranged in its correct...
Hi everyone, I was just hoping someone could help with an issue I have.

Obviously this hairspray coats my bathroom in gunk, which for the most...
last year I was told I had adhesive capsulitis, got a second opinion and it wasn't that, it was shoulder impingement, ie a bone spur growing and trapping a tendon. Went in for a "straightforward" op and then got told post op that it was a little bit more than MRI had picked up. Had the spur...

Hello, I'm relatively handy when it comes to DIY, but I have never tried tiling before and I may have come over all ambitious for my first attempt. It feels like I have read and watched a hundred tiling websites and youtube tiling videos, along with speaking to "experts" who have provided...
We moved into our flat a few months ago. The kitchen floor has fairly cheap ceramic tiles which have a printed black finish and rough surface - kind of 'fake slate' thing.
The colour on the tiles seems to be rubbing off on our feet / socks. If you spend some time in there with white socks on...
