I’m tiling a 90m2 area with 600x600 limestone tiles, 12mm thick.
The base is a poured screed (very level) which also contains the underfloor heating pipework.
I appreciate I need a 100% coverage with the adhesive.
I appreciate that the round notched trowels give better coverage (primarily as...

Hi everyone
Long shot I know, but trying to help a customer out sourcing some tiles. I'm pretty sure its either the Pilkingtons Roma 250x200 Light Peach (ROM70) or the Light Cream (ROM30) which were used by house-builders such as Persimmon, Redrow, David Wilson and Barratts in the late 1990's...

We had Lafarge gyvlon screed laid 4 years ago and are only now in a position to get it tiled. Up to now it was covered with temporary carpet.

Evening all, hope this finds you well. Just a quick question.. What is the best method of making good walls once old tiles have been removed? And what’s the preffered method to removing old adhesive? Many thanks in advance, Stu.
Getting a bathroom regrouted, bit concerned tiler has only taken the top layer of old grout out. Thought at least 3mm of tile sides needed exposing for the new grout to adhere? Please let me know your opinions.

Hi all, apologies if I have not put this is the correct place.

Hi all, I've scrapped all paint off drywall in preparation for 100 x 300 mm tiles and currently patching damaged spots. My question is do I need to PVA and skim with Multi Finish or can I just tile as it is?
Any help appreciated.
Hi All,
Have just started removing the tiles in an old bathroom and the plaster is coming off with the old tiles but the render remains in tact and in decent condition, the surface appears to be solid, dry and flat.
Do I need to apply a primer prior to tiling? is a fairly wet room so don't want...

Hi Guys,
Ripped up some tiles on an old floor today. Some of the tiles were came up very easily and there was a very slight damp feel.
It's obviously very minor rising damp as the tiles have been down 30 odd years.
I've looked at the mapei epoxy dpm but it's pricy and only need a very small...
