Quick one to check I'm on the right track -
I'm planning to do a tiled bath panel (with access panel using some Schluter magnets). Am I right in thinking I should have cuts below the bath rim and cuts down onto the floor?
It'll be about 560 mm high, tiles are 200 mm high, so I'm thinking to...

Hi,
I'm struggling to decide between these floor layouts. I've gone for staggered patterns so I can avoid intersecting with the grout lines on the walls.
The floor tiles are 900mm x 450mm with 3mm grout line. The floor is 2460 wide by 2270mm long , the bath is 800mm wide by 1800mm long...
As the title. I have my daughters kitchen splashback to tile.
In the examples Ive seen the worktops seem to be taken as level and full tiles (metro) form the bottom layer.
My question is how do you address if the worktop is not level? Do you mark a line about half a metro up and cut the bottom...

Hi there, I've been emailing tile companies and none seem to be able to offer me any advice on my query. So I thought I'd ask the experts in here!
I'd like to tile the lid/top (hinged to access record player) and base of a hi-fi cabinet that I've renovated. As far as I could see it's either...
I was working in retail last year and quit my job to become a laborer. I took a hit in terms of money but wanted to better myself. I've been given the opportunity to learn tiling. I did a few bathrooms with my boss helping me and then recently I tiled a full bathroom on my own, granted it was a...

Hello,
Can anyone help me with setting out for a bathroom wall inclusive of a window? I am using 600x300 in a running bond pattern. I have the window centre and I'm working from that with a tile gauge, but I'm left with slithers on the second row, even when moving across half a tile.
Any...

hi guys
I've always used a wet cutter to cut my tiles where ever my dry rail cutter can't do. I've always done that as that is how I got shown. My question is is that the norm. Do you guys use wet cutters or do you use angle grinders ?? Which is really what my question is about. I've never...
