I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good random pattern for 6 tile sizes rather than the more standard 4 tile Opus Romano?

I was looking at some old wall tiling today where 4 tiles join up to form a pattern, they were butted together with no grout line but this made the patterns join,if their was a grout gap of even 2 mill i dont think the tiling pattern would look right, has any one come across this situation...

Need some advice on a floor i've got to do. Its a 3 tile pattern, not sure on sizes yet, about 13m2, just a bit concerned on setting out procedure and also how to achieve the pattern, any advice please.
