Most of the bathroom walls are new plasterboard, hardibacker in the shower enclosure and one solid skimmed wall. Tile size is 250*300.
Do I need a flexible adhesive? I'm planning on using Weber Plus (yellow/grey bag) which is not a flexible adhesive. Grout is Mapei Ultracolour.
Will the above...

Do you need to use screws as well as dot and dab when fixing plasterboard? I’ve read quite a few posts on this and only a few mentions mechanically fixing the plasterboard as well as dot and dab.
Is it that those in the know just assume one would know to add screw as well as dot and dab...
I'm looking to rip out an old bathroom suite shortly and re-tile from floor to ceiling. I'm now unsure on how to proceed with the tiling because the existing walls are old plaster which was painted with some kind of silk or possibly even gloss paint. The bath area also has 2-3 layers of tiles...

I've not used any stone...

Would like your opinions on this one please. Got a bath/shower installation to do soon, and the existing walls are painted plasterboard (not skimmed). The approach i would normally take is to remove the walls replace with Hardie and tank the wet area.
The problem I have this time is that the...
