Hi,
A newbie here. Just looking for advice on best type of grout to use for our ensuite. We used the same dark grey polished porcelain tile on the floor and shower area. Would like a grout not prone to mould or discolouration in a silver grey colour. Any brand you could recommend?
Thanks!
I am looking for some 600 x 600 polished black porcelain tiles for the kitchen at the moment and I have a couple of manufactureres that have come up recently:
Oceano 23.35/m2
Ceramiche 26.40/m2
Anyone ever used either of these brands? Or are they both best avoided?
Cheers
Matt

why do tile shops tell people to seal polished porcelian, I've been tiling for seven years and have never had a problem with staining so why do people think this. The grout should be sealed if wanted but the tiles don't absorb sealer.
The only problem with polished porcelian i have is when metal...

Hi, hope someone can help!
I used Dettol bathroom cleaner on my black polished porcelain tiles and it has left awful stains where the cleaner was sprayed on the tiles. No matter how much I scrub they wont come off.
What can I do to get rid of them?
Thanks

Hello,
Porcelain or granite floor tiles. What are the advantages or disadvantages. Granite tiles are much more expensive. Are they worth the extra cost ????.
Regards, DBM.
I've recently completed a couple of bathroom floors for a customer using wickes polished porcelain tiles black and white in a diamond pattern.
I informed the customer before laying that they would need to be sealed and that this would cost extra (originally ceramic tiles to be fixed). To save...
