Hi all. I year ago I had black polished procelain tiles laid. I was told they did not need sealing. However after a few weeks the shine disappeared and not matter what I try I cannot revive them. They look old and almost dirty. I clean with flash, porcelain cleaners, soapy water but no joy...

I'm about to have 20sqm of black B&Q polished porcelain tiles (600 x 600) put down. After everything I'd read about these I was bit sceptical but my wife insisted (and I couldn't argue with the price).
It seems that with all the reported problems with these tiles B&Q are trying to cover...

hi people.
Just priced a job for a couple of weeks time. Using said tiles on 14m2 of floor.
Never used these ones before. Anything I should know? Any of you guys used them before? They look typical b&q and quite lightweight.
Cheers.

Polished Porcelain tiles. Do you seal front and back before laying. On box just says seal before laying . Also got to lay over old Ceramic tiles. No chance of the ceramics comming up. What is best adhesive and do I prime ceramics?

Hi,
I have finally been asked to lay these. I have read quite a lot of previous posts about them. If I have this right they have to be cleaned first to remove the greese/wax and then sealed several times prior to laying. Can someone confirm this is still the case with the current batches...
