Can a tanking membrane be used on an already wet substrate?? Will it stick?? Never used one and have little knowledge of them.
I know liquid epoxy DPM 's can but not sure if tanking membranes work the same way.
thanks in anticipation once again

Went to view a job today, a hallway 6m x 1.6m. Substrate is standard floor boards.
Generally I'd reinforce any areas of deflection, over board with ply, primed of course, followed by hardi backer then tile.
This particular one has two single boards that need replaced to eliminate...

-moistutre board on timber battens?
-sand cement, tile directly on?
shower over bath walls...
Hi,
I'll admit upfront this is a bodge, but I want to try it before having to spend "real money".
I have fitted aquapanel (cement board) on the front of my new hole-in-the-wall gas fireplace, this is where the problems start! (I probably should have used Supalux in hind sight)
The temperature...
