    Gloss ceramic floor tiles: how easily do they scratch?

    I've seen some tiles in B&Q (don't groan) and I fancy having them for down in my dining room. Only problem I foresee is that they are shiny gloss and I just wonder if they'll get scratched by dining chairs and vertically challenged friends in killer heels. any views people? :grinningelf:

    car thermometer readings, how accurate are they?

    went to look at a job this morning at 9am, jumped in the car and the dashboard reading said -14c, just wondered how accurate they are as it warmed up through the day and got to -5c:thumbsup:

    rubi ti-66-s /ti-t ive seen old threads but no upto date reviews...are they good?

    cant remember name of company, got this call last week ,they will supply me with leads for tiling work, you pay them a percentage commission after work completed , you price the work your self, and they want a 250.00 admin fee is it a scam or what , i told him to get lost

    turned up at new job today, checked quote before I went in, 'You will require 6.5 sq mts of tiles (inc cuts and waste)' it said Customer says, 'we measured it and we think you only need 5.5 mts of tiles'. End of play when I ran out of tiles, 1 sq mt funny enough, why oh why oh why
