New gyproc "Placocem" tile backer board

Floor tile backer
I would like to install electric underfloor heating in my bathroom. The floor is timber and would like to know what is the minimum depth I could use on top of the boards. marmot make 6mm and 10mm. I was looking at using 10mm Marmox board. Is this deep enough? Thanks- tfwoo

Plastic-ply tile backer
Has anyone used this, I seen it on vista tiling for £10.50 for 1.2m2, its self adhesive, can be cut with scissors, comes in 600x500mm sections and claims it can be stuck straight onto floating chipboard floors etc. This would cut down on lugging 8x4 sheets of ply around.
