I tiled my bathroom and it came out very nice. It's a pretty impressive result taking in to account that this is my first tiling project. BUT the internal corner didn't come out that nicely and re-tiling it is not an option. I found this stainless steel retrofit cove that I could use in Floor...

Just wondered if anyone has had any come backs or problems tiling direct onto this type of board?
Hi
We have just had our hallway floor tiled. I am very happy with the tiling itself and paid the tiler when he left late on Sunday.
However on closer inspection the next day I realised that there are gaps along most of the edges (ie, where the tiles meet the skirting board). In a few places...
i need a tiler for the splashback in my kitchen. It's L shaped, so it will be one wall 2.5m x .7 high with one socket and boxing in around boiler pipes, the second wall is about 2.8m but im undecided as to how high to go up as this wall has a window on it. I haven't chosen the tiles yet. Based...

We have moved into our new house and I am about to put some floor tiles down. The house flooring is 22mm water resistant chipboard. I planned to put down 6mm no more ply rather than 18mm ply to keep the finished height of the floor down to as close to carpet level as possible. Thinking of the...

Steve here from Kilmore (Australia) - as per subject, I have not tiled for many years but am beginning again today on a kitchen job I am trying to complete for my client.

I went to look at a job last week and "customer" (I'm assuming I didn't get the job as he's not got back to me) is using this polypipe overlay system. Since reading the literature it appears that the boards are just glued together and laid on the substrate without adhesive or mechanical fixings...
Hi, Here are some photos of a recent bathroom refurb i had done, the guy who did the work has done a nice job after a few hiccups, can i ask does anyone know how essential it is that the gap at the bottom of the travertine tiles where they meet the floor tiles has to be siliconed? Its just that...
Hi all,
I will be doing a job for relative soon which consists of a bathroom floor.
its a reasonable new house (6 years) The floor is a laminate on wood at the moment.
I would be priming then tiling with Weber SPF.
should I reboard & why?
After years of shying away from tiling floors (only you use the non slip flooring poop) and passing up on tiling people's floors when asked, I've bitten the bullet and done my first one ( relatives small kitchen floor) only a small one with cheap ceramics but I'm pleased with the outcome of my...
Hi, the current path (approx. 4m x 1m) is laid with original Victorian black and white tiles, but there is not enough slope to produce a run off for the water. Any amount of rain and a big puddle forms across the path plus all the dirt collects there when the rain stops. Ideally, I would like to...
