I'm hoping to have a log burner installed later this year and have bought some black-blue limestone tiles to use as a hearth. A friend of a friend is going to fit the stove and lay the hearth but I thought I'd do some groundwork myself, as he kept mentioning Indian sandstone as a hearth and...

Should I level out the steps so they are like a block, tile just the landing...
Hi, I have a problem with the grout in between our kitchen floor tiles, the tiles are beige and the grout is also beige. After my husband tiled the floor we religiously applied a liquid that we bought from the tile shop (which we suspect is probably Unibond)? in order to stop the grout...

Hi
I wonder if someone can help please?
We have a porcelain tiled floor in an open-plan kitchen/dining/living area. The tiles have been down now for about 18 months but very soon after the floor was finished, the tiles began to come loose. Having looked at some of the other threads on this...

Also, tiling the walls, we had a re-skim on the walls. The plasterer has made it really...

What dimensions are normal?
Do you go flush...
