I picked up a grout float from toolstation today, to finish off the porcelain tiles in my shower. I dont want to pay a lot as I probably won't need it after my current project. It is made of some sort of lightweight polystyrene rubber, with sharp edges (should they not be bevelled?)
Have I made...

Hi guys, just thought I'd ask the question, what way do you store your notched trowels in your van. I was sorting my van out today while I'm off and was just wondering if it's a good old bucket with the trowels upright in it for you, or have any of you any ingenious ways that would be new to the...

When a few of us were down at Rays last year doing the porcelthin course, @deanotile (I think!) pulled a scraper out of @GaryTheTiler 's tool box which was caked in adhesive and grout and we all had a laugh and agreed that, you aren't a tiler without one :tearsofjoy: Who else has one and just...

Hi Folks, VinceC here, just moved back to Blighty and, due to circumstances now looking to get back into fitting bathrooms, I found your forum (by trawling) and must give compliments on the level of info, the topics covered & what appears to be the genuine interest of the members.
Was just on my mind and like to hear your views,
have all the rubi trowels 3mm 4.5mm 6mm 8mm 10mm 12mm
Obviously use trowels for small tiles for either
Mosaic for 3mm
Small ceramic 4.5m
Then my 10mm or 12mm for bigger tiles
