Hi,
I am about to tile the floor in my toilet, and fit new toilet and pedastal sink.
Should I fix toilet and pedastal direct onto tiles?
Am I best using silicon or anything else between floor and ceramics.
Any advice gratefully recieved.

I'm replacing the double-skinned plasterboard stud wall surface in my bathroom, which is also a party wall with my neighbour, hence the double-thickness plasterboard for fire regs.
As expected, once the tiles were removed, both layers of plasterboard behind the shower are damp and full of...

Does...

Hello
Just been asked if I would tile a work top in a kitchen, the work top is the laminated chip board type, not marble or natural stone. I don't know of any adhesive that would stick to this type of surface, anyone done this before ?

Hi,
We have an old Victorian house & are putting a new suite into the corner of the master bedroom. We've taken the skirting boards off around the walls where the ensuite build now stands (to be able to get the plumbing, electrics, etc. in before plastering).
We're now at the stage where we...
