hi guys. can anybody tell me when tiling on top of existing tiling can i butt the tiles close together or is it essential to leave at least 3mm for grouting. i know i will have to use flexible cement but i don't want to have grout lines if at all possible.

I've already put aquapanel onto a frame at the rear end of the bath to create a ledge/step. My question is that I need to build the height on the horizontal part by about 10mm. As i've already got some marmox lying around can I simply glue/screw this onto the aquapanel then tile??
