just a quick question, when tiling my bathroom should you use (example) 8mm notched trowel, then for the walls round the bath and where the showr is use a thin bed trowel or is that only for wet rooms?
can some1 tell me if your putting up a large format tile do you atomatically need to use bigger than a 6mm notched trowel and bagged adhesive rather than ready mixed tubbed stuff

I am about to tile my kitchen floor with 600 x 300 porcelin tiles, I am going onto a concrete floor. The floor is fairly level / flat.
Could someone recommend which size trowel I need for the job? and a good adhesive?
I just sorting out consuption rate for a Mapei adhesive and its says:

Is the size of a No.4 trowel 4mm?
